By downloading, installing, or using Promptly ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Promptly.
Promptly is an iOS keyboard extension that provides AI-powered text assistance through integration with OpenAI's API. The service includes:
The App requires iOS keyboard "Full Access" permission to function. This permission is necessary to:
Important: We do NOT log, store, or analyze the text you type. Full Access is only used for the technical operation of AI features.
Limited to 30 requests per month. Usage resets on the first day of each calendar month. Fair usage limits apply to prevent abuse.
Price: €2.99 per month (or local equivalent)
Features: Increased usage limits with fair usage policy applied in sliding time windows (4-hour, 7-day, 30-day)
Subscription: Auto-renewing monthly subscription via Apple App Store
Cancellation: Cancel anytime through App Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
Cost: Free (you pay OpenAI directly)
Requirements: You must provide your own OpenAI API key from platform.openai.com
Usage: Unlimited requests (you are billed directly by OpenAI)
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for managing your OpenAI account, API key security, and costs incurred
We are NOT responsible for charges on your OpenAI account when using BYOK plan.

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Pro subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Refund policies are determined by Apple's App Store policies. To request a refund, contact Apple Support directly through the App Store or at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We cannot process refunds directly as all transactions are handled by Apple.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription.
The App, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by Promptly and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Custom actions you create remain your intellectual property. However, by using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your custom action instructions through our servers for the sole purpose of providing the service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Slovakia.
